Lee Ann Womack’s A Season for Romance is by far one of my favorite country Christmas albums. I love each and every song on it and I have listened to it over and over every year since she came out with it in 2002 and it never gets old. Never. Probably the most popular song from this album is The Man with the Bag, which is a totally upbeat fun song. There’s also a rendition of Baby, It’s Cold Outside with Harry Connick, Jr that I LOVE. They both have a bluesy vibe going in and their voices go great together for that song. A few of my other favorites are The Season for Romance, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve. But honestly, you just need to buy the whole album because I guarantee you’ll love every single song on there. Have I steered you wrong yet???

Wear It: Drink In My Hand
We’ve had a request for some Eric Church duds! So let’s all check out the video Drink In My Hand by Mr Eric Church first!
So, dude is pretty hot right? In that bad boy smokey kind of way? Am I right? I am, trust me. Anyway, he’s super casual in this video with layered tees, jeans and boots. Here’s how I’d do it in the Langston’s way:

Southern Thread Men’s Short Sleeve Band T-Shirt – Black
Men’s Dickies Long Sleeve Solid Pocket Tee Shirt
Rock and Roll Cowboy Men’s Slim Fit Boot Cut Pistol Jeans
Stetson Men’s Handmade Distressed Eagle Underlay Cowboy Boots – Grey/Brown
So there you have it folks…the Eric Church! I’m definitely a fan of the long sleeve tee under the short sleeve tee. It’s casual but it shows you have a bit of fashion sense. And the jeans, I’m definitely in love with Langston’s Rock and Roll jeans…the wash and the stitch…love it! And these boots..GUYS! You NEED these boots!!
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Wear It! PLEASE continue sending in requests for who you want to see!

All of the pieces that Blake wears in the video are AWESOME basics that I think every dude should own. So if you don’t own one or all of these pieces, run don’t walk to the Langston’s site and hit checkout! This is the outfit you should add piece by piece to your cart:

90 Proof Men’s Long SLeeve Flannel Plaid Snap Shirt with Embroidery – Red

New Music Releases
There are no new album releases today but I do have a few new singles that have come out recently that you should DEFINITELY be aware of.

First up, Faith Hill’s comeback single, Come Home. Faith performed this song on the CMA Awards a couple of weeks ago. This was the first time she’d been on that show in five years. I’m a big Faith Hill fan and I thought she did fantastic!

Next, Taylor Swift, our current Entertainer of the Year and now Artist of the Year. She released a few singles as well as a concert CD/DVD. I gotta say, there’s not much bad you can say about Taylor Swift. She writes every note and lyric and performs and is a good role model for all the young girls that love her so. Here are some songs you definitely need to check out that she’s released lately: Ours, If This Was A Movie, Superman, Medley: Back to December/Apologize/You’re Not Sorry.
Wear It: Troubadour
As you’ve seen, this is Man Week on the Langston’s blog! So I thought I’d take take us back a couple of years and feature the ultimate MAN on the country scene, the king, George Strait! Take a look for yourself in George’s Troubadour video at his style through the years, dude is a SHARP DRESSED MAN!
George has always had a very clean cut style, which I love! Most of the time you will see him in a solid color shirt, starched jeans, belt and boots with either a straw or felt hat. It’s a classic look that will never die. Here’s how I would do it Langston’s style.

Cinch Men’s Long Sleeve Solid Western Button Down Shirt – Khaki
Wrangler Men’s George Strait Slim Fit Cowboy Cut Jeans – Stonewash
Justin – Men’s Full Quill Ostrich Cowboy Boots with Tekno Crepe™ Sole – Cognac
Ariat – Men’s Cimmaron Belt Collection – Cedar/Antique Tan
20X Black Gold Cowboy Hat by Resistol
So what do you think? Are you a fan of the classic look?
New Music Releases

David Nail releases “The Sound of a Million Dreams” today, his sophomore album and follow up to “I’m About to Come Alive” which won him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Vocal Country Performance for “Turning Home” and an Academy of Country Music Award nomination for Single of the Year for “Red Light”. This new album was produced by Frank Liddell and Chuck Ainlay.
I LOVED “I’m About to Come Alive”, it was one of those albums where there was not one bad song on it. If you don’t have that album then you definitely need it. I have been anticipating this new album and it looks very promising!
At first listen, these are the songs I think you should check out Songs For Sale(with Lee Ann Womack), Let It Rain, That’s How I’ll Remember You and The Sound of a Million Dreams.
Are you a David Nail fan? Will you be checking this album out?
For the men…
I know that men’s fashion sometimes takes a back seat on this blog, well on most blogs. But this week it’s all about the men….starting with a giveaway over at Wild and Precious! Go check it out!!
Here is a hint….
Wear It: I Don’t Want This Night To End
Luke Bryan has a new video out and he’s showing off his acting chops. I’m always intrigued by videos that leave you with a “To Be Continued” in the end, which this video does. Luke Bryan plays the country star who meets a girl, falls for her, and….oh well I don’t want to give it away! Watch for yourself!
Dude is looking hot, am I right ladies? That smile… swoon! Ok, so if you want YOUR man to look like Luke Bryan, here’s how to make it happen with some Langston’s help!

Rock and Roll Cowboy Men’s Long Sleeve Western Stripe Snap Shirt with Embroidery – Black
Ariat Men’s Ariat Austin Tooled Leather Belt with Studs – Black/Brown
Southern Thread Men’s Joel Straight Leg Jeans – Dark Stonewash
Corral Men’s Tabac Cowboy Boots with Chocolate Caiman Inlay
I’m in love with this outfit or is it Luke Bryan! Same difference! ha! But seriously, those Corral boots and Southern Thread jeans are sharp looking.
Tell me what outfit you want to reproduce Langston’s style!!
Employee Pick
This week our pick is from Donna. Can anyone read the name Donna without singing the Richie Valens song in their head? I know I can’t. Donna’s pick starts with the jeans. “The jeans are gorgeous. I love the wash and the stitching on the back pockets.” The jeans are Cruel Girl Women’s Grace Low Rise Skinny Jeans – Dark Stonewash. They featuring a dark stonewash, permanganate, hand sanding, whiskers, tacking, tint, chevrons, 11.25 Oz stretch denim skinny leg, and a low rise. Seriously, what else could you want or need in a jean?
Paired with the Cruel Girl jeans, this Cruel Girl Women’s Long Sleeve Print Crew Neck T-Shirt – Cream. It is long sleeve, crew neck, and has rhinestone accents all over. It is 50% cotton making it soft and 50% polyester to make it last. Donna said, “I picked the shirts because its nice and casual.”
As for the details, a Western Charm Women’s Charm Necklace – Silver Tone and Lane Boots Women’s ‘Wild Ginger’ Cowboy Boots – Black. “I picked the necklace because it was simple and casual like the shirt.” And as far as the boots…. “The boots are beautiful.” Enough said.
Thanks Donna.
