I showed some NYE boots for the ladies earlier this wee, but what about the men? I think the men need to ring in the new year with a bang as well…or a boom…or a strike…I’m trying to do a tie in here and failing…anyway, here are the boots, Corral Men’s Black Lightening Cowboy Boots…
Have a great New Year’s and be safe. See you guys in 2012.
In honor of New Year’s Eve this weekend I decided to highlight Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now since it has a New Year’s feel to the end of the video. I’m sure everyone has already seen this video a million times if not heard it on the radio, right?! But go check the video out anyway…I’m going to focus on Hillary Scott’s LBD.
The perfect little black dress, wouldn’t you say? And you know what? Langston’s has a perfect LBD too! The only thing I think Hillary was missing was instead of heels she needed to have her some sequin boots! So here’s how I would do the LBD Langston’s New Year’s Eve style!
I think your options here on how to style these are plentiful. On the bottom I would go for Black Leggings or Black Jeggings or a Dark Wash Jegging if you want pants. You could also easily pair these with a skirt or dress with tights. I would go for a gold color or black for a skirt of dress, and then black tights. If you go black on the bottom, I would try for Tan or Gold on top…or even Red?!?! These are such fun boots. The best part is that they last way past New Year’s Eve. Paired with jeggings and a simple white tee or tank, they are easily worn everyday…throw a black blazer on top of that tee and you are ready to go from day to night, date night! I can also picture these with a flowing black maxi skirt and a simple tee.
I think one of my resolutions should be to wear more sparkle and shine. So I need to go shopping right?!?!?
I love that these Miss Me Jeans have sequins and rhinestones not just on the pockets, but on the yoke as well.
This Rock and Roll Cowgirl Burn Out Tee would add sparkle and shine to just about any day. This is one of those tees you just can’t be in a bad mood while wearing.
I guess I *have* to buy these right? I mean, it is a resolution after all….
I know that Santa will be visiting all the cowboys and cowgirls, young and old this weekend. We even shipped a few packages for Santa these past few weeks to help lighten his load!
We hope your holidays are merry and bright….
and that your stocking is filled with goodies and under the tree is crammed with packages!
I love the beach inspired Christmas video that Joey + Rory put out this season. It’s super fun and is great for folks that really don’t have a white Christmas, not even close. Check the video out first:
Fun huh? So here’s how I’d do it Langston’s BEACH style!
So there you have it! For all you folks having a warm Christmas! A CUTE little sundress with some fabulous red boots. I have these boots myself and I must say they are by far one of my favorites in my closet. And red boots shows off just enough sass. Am I right? I would definitely pair this up with some bright jewelry such as the turquoise necklace the model has on, PERFECT!
Next week I’ll give you a snazzy New Year’s Eve outfit! Is everybody ready for that? It will definitely be FUN!
Keep sending in requests for the video outfits you want to recreate!
I love that they are a neutral color, yet have enough bling to make them unique and different. Purses with personality….which I need since I usually wear solid colors and am kind of boring in my day to day dressing.
Today is the last Country Christmas post before Christmas!! I saved the best for last!! George Strait’s “Merry Christmas Strait to You” is a definite must for your country Christmas song list. I’ve been listening to this album since at least ’93 and it has been around since ’86! There are classics and “new” songs on this album and all of them are FABULOUS! I mean you can never go wrong with George Strait and that holds true even for Christmas. I’m not even going to select my favs from this album because I can listen to them all equally as much. Though if you want to know what it’s like for us folks that live in Texas, just have a listen to “When it’s Christmas time in Texas”.
I hope everyone has a fantastic and very Merry Christmas! I’ll be back next week with some New Year’s music for you and then we start the new year off with some NEW MUSIC!
Christmas and New Year’s both fall on the weekend this year, so I know lots of you are traveling to see family….or maybe you are skipping the family traditions and heading for a ski weekend in Vail? Either way, this Pendelton Weekend Bag is perfect!
